Vaccinations

Our COVID-19 vaccination service is readying itself for the new Autumn 2025 programme, following a successful Spring programme with over 2,500 vaccines administered. The service will be provided from Amwell surgery, Hoddesdon and will start from 1st October 2025, running until 31st January 2026. However, the majority of vaccinations should be administered by 19th December 2025.

For autumn 2025, COVID-19 vaccination will be offered to:

• Adults aged 75 years and over

• Residents in care homes for older adults

• Individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over

This represents a change from the autumn 2024 programme, which also included adults aged 65 to 74 and all those aged 6 months and over in a clinical risk group.
