Enhanced Access

The Enhanced Access service started in July 2022 and continues to deliver over 500 Primary Care appointments each month. The service is run out of Amwell Surgery on weekday evenings and all day Saturday.  The service offers a wide variety of Primary Care appointments including: GP, Practice Nurse, HCA, Physiotherapy, Anxiety Management workshops, Smear testing, Ear Microsuction and Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive fitting / removal.  For more information on the services available please see our Patient Information tab.  To arrange an appointment in the Enhanced Access service please contact your GP practice.

Vaccination

Our COVID-19 vaccination service is readying itself for the new Spring 2025 programme. The service will be provided from Amwell surgery, Hoddesdon. The programme will start from 1st April 2025, initially supporting our most frail patients in Care Homes or those who are Housebound.  The service will also offer mass vaccination clinics from Amwell surgery from the middle / end of April and mid May and we aim to have the programme completed by 17th June 2025.  Click link HERE for all patient eligibility criteria.   The service will be will be sending out text messages to all our eligible patients over the next couple of weeks.
